No detail is too small! Even postage can add to your look! Whether it's a cute custom stamp (<a href="http://zazzle.com/">zazzle.com</a> is GREAT for this!) or a fabulous vintage stamp (check out the Anticipate Invitations shop on Etsy, <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/Anticipate">https://www.etsy.com/shop/Anticipate</a>).<br />
Monograms, kitchy sayings, pictures, vintage stamps from your home state,….even rubber stamps are an option! Your invitation envelope is the first thing your guests will see so why not make it special?!<br />

Balloons are making a resurgence in wedding celebrations but it's a "new" balloon….oversized, adorned with tassels, glitter or other wow factor, the balloon has gotten an event face lift that now reads chic, whimsical and very fresh looking. Use it as a photo prop, part of your centerpiece, a clever save the date, background for a photobooth…the ideas are endless! I love it!<br />

I do ALWAYS hear from my grooms though if they are getting a gift or card for their bride to be, when it's time to get a tux, and when it's time to purchase gifts for the groomsmen. Now that last one is a tricky one because of course I don't personally know the grooms' friends, only he knows what their interests are and what their personalities are like. So I have to have somewhere to direct a guy where he can one-stop shop and even get each of his guys a different gift if he so wishes dependent on what he thinks each of them would like. I always like my clients to have a lot of options to choose from and in many price ranges so I love to recommend Groovy Groomsmen Gifts, <a href="http://www.groovygroomsmengifts.com/"><span style="color: blue;">http://www.groovygroomsmengifts.com</span></a> and Cap Catchers, <a href="http://www.capcatchers.com/"><span style="color: blue;">http://www.capcatchers.com</span></a>. With Groovy Groomsmen, I know there is an array of gifts for any type of guy ranging from cufflinks to duffle bags and more. Capcatchers is a unique site that caters to Groomsmen gifts for beer drinkers which is always a crowd pleasure amongst the men! Armed with both of these sites, every one of my clients has so much to choose from. The product is quality without breaking the bank. I have a personalized beer bucket from Capcatchers and it's been coming in handy a lot so far this BBQ summer season!<br />
Check out my beer bucket and some of their fabulous products below!<br />

I see a return to simplicity in invitations for 2015….We have come off a few years of ornate details, pocket folds, monograms and embellishments. I see this year as being all about beautiful fonts, foil, letterpress and quality lush paper…Elegant, refined and luxurious!<br />

Weddings around the holiday can be elegant but still relevant….even vintage or whimsical but still having that cozy winter vibe! Bring on the hot chocolate!<br />

<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
Why do wedding photographers cost so much? I mean, really. Our cameras are just a grade or two</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
above your uncle's, or your friend's, or even yours. We show up, take some photos, and burn a disc.</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
That'll be $5,000.00 please. Thank you! Come again!</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
Good thing it doesn't actually work that way (for most photographers). Not every photographer has</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
the same routine. Lower priced photographers (about $500-$1,500), mid-range photographers (about</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
$1,500-$4,000), and high-end photographers (about $4,000-$10,000+) all have different routines and</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
protocols, products, services, quality, and years or experience - and the finished results that you</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
receive in the end will reflect those prices.</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
Time and attention are big factors in pricing. Some photographers will get every little detail about your</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
wedding from you, and then plan the entire photography schedule to the most minuscule of details.</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
Visiting each location ahead of time, planning shot locations, timing travel and transitions, backup</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
plans, and coordinating logistics with the reception manager and/or wedding planner are just some of</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
the preparations that are made by a prudent photographer. Some will even create an itinerary of</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
events for you.</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
Photographers with more experience already know these locations, so not as much planning is</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
required by them, and the proof is in their portfolio - usually for the better. Other photographers just</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
play it by ear - meaning they just show up and shoot; kind of like throwing a bunch or darts at a board</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
and hoping something sticks.</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
Will you be receiving an engagement session? This is a great way for you and your photographer to</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
get to know each other. This is important since you'll be spending most of your wedding day with this</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
person, and need to be comfortable around him or her and their camera. Engagement sessions still</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
require planning, and possibly getting the appropriate permits. This kind of specialized attention is</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
one factor that contributes to pricing.</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
The products and services a photographer offers also affects pricing. A higher quality of prints and</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
albums means a higher price for the photographer. This higher price is then considered into the</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
photographer's pricing strategy.</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
When we're talking about a photographer's services, we're referring to planning, logistics, image</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
enhancement, and shooting. The time photographers spend scouting locations, planning itineraries,</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
shooting an event, and all the hours behind a computer needs compensation. The more of these</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
services that a photographer offers, the higher the price you can expect. Also in consideration of</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
these services is the quality of work, and years of experience.</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
As wedding photographers, we wear many hats. Production manager, logistics coordinator, art</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
director, graphic designer, therapist (who do you think reassures you when the best man is driving</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
back home to pick up the rings?), and photographer. Some photographers wear some or all of these</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
hats, some have more experience than others, and some have a higher quality than others. All of</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
these factors meld together to define the value of the photographer. Ultimately, you are the judge of</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
that value. So in the end, the classic cliche still stands: you get what you pay for. Armed with the right</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">
photographer, that payoff can be huge.</div>
<div style="font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px;">

Mix em up but keep them all within your palette and you will add a beautiful visual component to your day (Not to mention your girls will thank you!)<br />

It actually fell a little short for my expectations, but I still love the series and I REALLY love adding vintage 60's elements to a wedding....elegant, upscale and reminiscent of a time that I would have loved to live in!<br />

I just love how the pop of black adds to this blush and white color palette!<br />
